Meet The Juneau Foods Tours Team

Elizabeth Arnett

Joining the Juneau Food Tours team for 2016 is Elizabeth Arnett. We are very excited to have her as a guide. Elizabeth worked for Travel Juneau, the city’s marketing organization, for more than nine years and has been living in Juneau for 26 years.  She’s definitely a local who knows a lot about Alaska’s capital city.

When asked about her favorite place to be in Juneau, Elizabeth replied, “It’s so hard to pick just one.  I gravitate to the glacier, and I’ve been enjoying the many trails to get some exercise. But, for overall well-being, I like to be sitting in my living room staring out at the amazing water and mountain views I’m so fortunate to have.”

When not hosting guests on the Tour with Taste, Elizabeth enjoys reading books with an Alaskan focus. She also loves the great food scene here, naming SALT as one of her favorite places to dine. Elizabeth brings a sparkly personality and fun approach to visiting Juneau. Oh, be sure to ask her what her childhood career choice was. We’ll give you a hint…it had four legs.
